SS Belt and Buckle for Review

I found this in a local store and was wandering if it is original:

The buckle was unmarked from what I could tell and the belt was dated 1942.

Can't comment on the belt, but the buckle is certainly original. Try looking around the prong assembly for markings. Should have 155/year for Assmann, imo.
