Shoulder board SS?

Is this SS? Came out of a scrap book with a cuff title. The pips are late war if they are even period applied, right?

Yes it is SS, would need more photos
to determine its authenticy.
The pips of this type are considered later
war types, yes.

My thoughts... Possibly panzer with black dye bleed into the pink piping to get this odd color. Doesn't really look like Kz or early recon. If Pz, I would suggest Heer based on the tongue shape.

Pz Heer black board with copper-brown recon piping. Possible fading/ use to the copper brown or could be SS KZ verses SS construction unit ?

Either way, worth getting, a very rare find & desirable,

THe cuff title really isn't anything special. It's a ostturkischer waffen verband der SS. And it also came with a SS cloth hat edelweiss. But can pass up a cuff title for $20.
