Looks more like Hein or Hain to me. Perhaps they were relatives? Franz and Gottfried?

Does anybody have a photo of Gottfried Meir for comparison?
If so, it'd be interesting to compare ... Andernach's theory seems to hold water, would be nice to confirm.
