        It's definitely a Janke. SM Wholesale's mid 90's run of dot 44 only had 2 greens instead of 3.

          Correct! Janke's items are available for order through Bill Bureau's Militaria, a repro dealer out of Massachusets. Janke runs his business in northern Germany, Bad Salzuflen, but does not take private orders. However, Janke hasn't made dot44 in years. In fact, he doesn't make any hbt or cotton items anymore, exclusively wool items now.

            close but no cigar. 2 things indicate Michael janke... the crossed 7 on size markings & the chevron shaped pattern on the hbt weave is twice as long, large as original weave.
