    Hello everyone,

    Is it authentic?

    Happy Thanksgiving,

I found an identical one in a vet lot some months back- an odd tab but IMO an original foreign produced one- probably French or Dutch.

Here it is- not as worn but it is tunic removed, piping is slightly different also

The Dutch / Flemish SS collectors can better speak to the foreign made possibility than I can. They may very well be real.

But I have seen too many 1960s made one with similar style bullion & piping. IMO When it comes time to sell, the "textbook" ones will always sell faster than ones you need to explain.

I would say it is probably a good original foreign made tab. Italian or French made maybe.

Interesting, I knew the Dutch made bullion SS tabs, didn't know Italy made them too...Every thought is appreciated. Thanks everyone!
