Did the Waffen SS and Totenkopf SS serve together?

Did the Waffen SS and Totenkopf SS serve together? Am I crazy or do the men kneeling on the left and right of the center kneeling man look like non-ethnic Germans? Asian?

I think they must be from some eastern European area, likely southern? All seem to have runes tabs except one.

Looks like a manipulated pic to me. Some of the heads are way to big.

You'll find many photos of TK or rune wearing men together.
The Nord division for example was formed from totenkopfverbande units and during the mid war period you will see members of the division wearing combinations of both insignia.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

BTW there was no such thing as "Totenkopf SS" and Simon is right those with TK tabs are ex-members of SS-Totenkopfverbände (SS-TV) transfered to the Waffen-SS.

Lol...next time I'll write SS-TV. And the other comment from the other member about this being a fake photo because their heads are too big...? They look fine to me lol

If you do not think those heads pictured on the right (1st and 3rd from the right) too big and without a neck are odd than ok.just making an observation. Would not be the first time some kids pulled a prank by putting their own heads in a pic. After all Asian looking fellows in the SS are rather uncommon. If you are already going wow at that you must have a lot of wows in your life which I guess can make for an interesting life.

Back then they wore short and tight tunics especially in the shoulders areas (it was "edgy fashion") hence some look disproportional especially those who are naturally with narrow shoulders and big-size heads (common thing)

I would begin by looking at what purpose it would serve to manipulate the photo before making a statement like that. IMO the photo is not manipulated.

There are increasing numbers of Malaysians, Japanese, Chinese & other members of Asian nations that are doing reenactments.
I have to say that the two kneeling members in the picture to the left and right of the center man look more like they should be in a Soviet Division from the Eastern part of the Soviet Union, facing the Germans, than members of a Freiwilligen SS unit. Honest.
Superimposing a face onto another picture is a lot easier and more authentic looking than it used to be

What purpose? Is that a serious question? Probably dozens of reasons could be thought of by a creative person but how about just for the fun of it? Thinking up motives why something might have been done does not make any difference whether it has been done or not. I think this is an odd photo and all I am saying what about the possibility of it having been manipulated. No more no less. Not sure why this is such an unreasonable question or why people seem to have a beef with it.

Lol...I'll scan the reverse and show the complete front with close-ups for you guys. This thread is entertaining. By the way, I am a 44 year old Canadian male with three children FYI. I am not 16 years old lol Here is another photo from my collection showing a Waffen SS soldier with narrow shoulders and a large head. What can you say? Germans are smart people and need large heads to contain all that grey matter

I think the eyes and hands are from another photo. There's a group of people out there that switch body parts around on period photos for no good reason because they have absolutely nothing better to do....Hhahahahahahahah!
