Hello,

I'm looking for a little assistance here. I'm a WWI German insignia collector, so this tab is out of my area of interest and knowledge. My brother-in-law, found it in a box of WWII American insignia that he has had for around thirty years.

I've told him that there were reproductions of this insignia even before then, so I would have to run it by some experts to be able to tell if it is of WWII vintage or not. Any and all opinions would be welcome.
