Strange Collar Tab

I presume the dashing fellow is sporting insignia for 62nd Reiter-SS but can't say I have ever seen a combo like this before?
Am I right in my opinion or totally off base here?

The secondary R collar tabs are for early reserve troops of the Allgemeine-SS. In this case 62nd Foot Standarte.

I have seen a few single R secondary collar tabs, but have never seen a matching pair. They were worn on both collars. All in all, they are very scarce, but they are also not very impressive.
