      Gahr Pin.

      Maybe so. But damaged enamel/chipped for certain.Looks like "played" with in other ways.Reverse polished IMO.Now at heavy price and not finished.Have image of Bidders straining to gain it!!!!Not for me.Boru(King of Ireland)

        Well you know what they say, "beggars can't be choosers."

        These are desirable to collectors damaged or not due to their scarcity. As long as the damage is reflected in the overall price they're worth grabbing.

        I for one would rather have a chipped or knackered piece than none at all.

        If you are collecting for the pleasure and enjoyment of owning such items then go for it. If you are collecting for investment, wait for one thats not damaged and in its box.

                Not as well lit as the first photos so it's hiding the damage. It's clearly seen in the first photos.

                But as others have pointed out the Gahr pins are rare and it should still reach a decent price.
