Matching an SS Tropical Tunic with Tropical pants

I am trying to match a Tropical set and I have a chance to buy some corduroy trousers. Does the tunic and the pants have to be made out of the same material? I am trying to match the color as close as possible too. Here are some pics of both, tell me what you think?

Of course these trousers can be in the set with this tunic

The trousers look great and from the one picture, maybe unissued? They don't seem to match the more used condition of the tunic, but that may not matter to you. So, I guess that's a personal choice. If it were me, I'd pick them up.

Thanks guys for the replies, these kind of tropical long pants are hard to find. I'm just saving up a little more money before I pull the trigger. Does anybody know of any other sites that may have these. I cant find beside this one pair of pants.
