Fake

In my opinion this skull is fake as other Berlin hoard skulls.

I think it's just a fake. I haven't seen cranial lines on the back of any TK's.

I'm not so sure it's a fake, but some of these early skulls are hard to authenticate, due to so many variations. I like to see brass pins on skulls, but I'm not sure they were always brass. As for the cranial lines on the reverse, the insignia is "stamped-out' on a press. What is convex on one side is concave on the other. Here's an early original skull by Steinhauer and Luck with
reverse cranial impressions....
