Attached is a civil pin which at first glance would be considered a reproduction, it is however a Danish manufactured wartime SS pin for civilian clothes, this particular pin does not have the manufacturer's logo on the reverse, but a few identical pins are known to have the logo as well (from a Copenhagen jeweller). The reason for producing these pins is still unknown, it may have been a private order. This Copenhagen based jeweller also manufactured the majority of the Danish nazi party pins during the war.
