I don't like it.In my opinion it is a Peichl reproduction,which some one tried to alter as an original,or give it some battle relic look.
Is there a story with the ring ?

But as usual just my 2 cents

It is a casting from an original ring.

The die flaws in the rune panels are still visible.

The Peichl reproductons are not this faithful to the original.

these counterfeiters think they're slick... Take a decent copy HR and try and deface it enough just to be worth some money,, yet messed up enough for the experts not to be able to tell the difference!! Aahh the delicate balance

And they usually set a price that is low and attractive enough to take advantage of someone searching for a bargain or willing to take a chance.
