Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here could impart their knowledge in whether or not this SS ring was ever produced during WWII...
It's metal alloy construction and with no marks to interior so I'm wondering whether this was sanctioned by the government to be made or banged up by someone and it wasn't official? Did different rings require the same standard of high quality workmanship in the same way medals were? Because as you can see, the edge on the bottom right of the right S doesn't go straight down but at an angle, and the edge on the bottom half of the right S on the left has a little buldge and isn't straight down either. Is that the standard degree of quality?
Interested to know everyone's opinion on this.
