Hi Marc,

The peaked cap with Red/Red piping only is the for a Weerman (WA) ie. no red piping on the top of the peaked cap. The lion insignia was for the rank Vaandrig and above in the WA (Red/Red/Gold piping at top). Different coloured piping was used for different sections of the NSB.

Thank you Stormdolk for the info. What would the value of this cap be? The owner would be intrested in selling. I know the Flemisch stuff but have not much experiece with Duych items.... Are you Flemisch or Duch living in the UK ??
