SS Sleeve Eagle Officer + Panzer Boards

Hello, I have recently picked this set up on a local German Antique store...price was right and I am 100% sure that the Panzer boards -although they are not really Waffen SS, but came together with the eagle- are period originals, regarding the embroidered sleeve eagle I have a good feeling too, however I am not an expert on SS officer insignias, so any serious comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance

black light test is negative for the eagle

The eagle is not a style that I would be drawn to, but having said that it is a very unique looking item and the embroidery is very nicely executed and maybe of Italian origin (just a guest.) Could be original to the period.

Thanks, as I said being not really the expert on SS officer sleeve eagles, I look at it the same way and it is really nicely done...

The more I look at this eagle the more it reminds me os a suit of Japanese armor.

At the right price I would have also made that gamble. Very interesting and unknown variation...
who knows maybe foreign made?
