    SS police Division questin

I was wondering if anyone has proofed evidence what shoulder straps a SS police division man was wearing around 1941.

I searched a lot on the Net, but nothing really proofed to find .

I have some pics of soldiers , but no clear Shot of the straps

So: army M36 darkgreen straps Green piped ?

Or SS black straps green piped ?

And surely as a artillery Regiment was added it could be Red piped.

    Any textbook infos ?

If I remember correctly the transition for insignia change from Police to SS insignia was 1942.
Someone with a more detailed account may elaborate.

To be more precise; officially feb '42; prior to that date the shoulder straps would be M36 style dark green or M40 style field grey (just like Heer) but with police green piping and later with special Waffenfarbe f.e. art. (red) and pioneer (black).

1941 year must be wool black straps with wool green piping, police collartabs and SS sleeve eagle. The straps and collartabs has been changed in early 1943 to the W-SS standards. Runes and piping by branch- f.e: infantry white, etc...Just added a SS-Pol Cufftitle and sometimes a diammond over it

Sorry, but this is incorrect; please read my post #3.
In the beginning of 1942 the Division officially transferred to the Waffen-SS and were subsequently given full W-SS insignia (although for a period of time a mixture could be witnessed).

                    Perfekt shot !
                    Police tabs and heer straps!
That is what i wanted to See.
If anyone has a pic of collar tabs in wear without backing it would also be intressting

                    Thanks guys

                      Thanks guys
I do not believe they wore tabs without backing (not like their Orpo counterparts).
Herewith two images from my personal archives to compare; both should be dated the pre feb 1942 date.

I would recommend you to buy vol III from the "Die guten Glaubens waren"; you'll find many interesting images there.
