          These religious and cultural pieces were Himmlers and Weitzels personal pleasure - just like Allach.
          Recently some more items from Weitzels estate have come up onto the market here as well - some fine gems indeed.

                  Indeed - the most noteworthy ones regarding the religious and cultural aspects of the SS are:

                  1. Die Gestaltung der Feste im Jahres- und Lebenslauf in der SS-Familie.

                  2. Die Mannschaftsfeiern in der SS.

                  Both are very rare and I have never ever seen the second one for sale anywhere.

                  The first one showed up in the past but since the interest of the market has rapidly grown regarding any SS cultural piece there is - to my knowledge - not a single issue available at the moment.

                    found this on-line. Someone should go over there as ask for a good reproduction of this picture as well as better shots of the front of that ahnentruhe. Cannot see the carvings in the photos above and it is prob like that on purpose.
