Early SS Mantle

I've been offered this mantle and plan on purchasing and restoring it, it has one repair and is missing the sleeve eagle, doesn't seem to have signs of shoulderboards or collar tabs.
I was wondering what a general value
And some more info regarding this coat

Strange coat. This is a surcoat or "Wachmantel" with the vertical slash pockets in the front and hemmed lower edge, these were generally fully lined with a blanket-type material, this one has a partial lining like a standard issue coat and I suspect it was very heavily reworked. The nap shows equal wear underneath where the sleeve eagle would have been sewn, and there are Russian film stamps, if there really was a sleeve eagle on this at any point it could have been put on for a production after the war. I wouldn't value this over $300 in any case.
