I was offered this outstanding ground dug LAH lot. How much is it worth?

Hi. One guy offered me this lot of LSSAH items from one soldier. A cufftitle in really nice condition, half tag, a pair of shoulderstraps, ring and a aluminium SS NCO buckle in very good shape. I know ground dug items aren't worth as much as mint items. I was told to make an offer for this lot, but sincerely I don't know how much costs such a lot. I know cufftitles from SS are very expensive. Any idea? Thanks!

If this is ground dug as you indicated then the price is your sole! I would never come of the idea to dig in a soldiers last resting place nor to sell or purchase a ground dug item! It amazes me how far people go to make a buck. Jurgen

Proof of that or ignorant comment????

I don't make accusations without having the facts 100% but on here it seems the opposite is true.

You obviously know more , so lets hear it.

                    Where was this dug up?
Anyway, rotten insignia, belt buckle and ID tag rings alarm bells!

In russia black diggers have been, and still is digging up entire cementarys. It is well documented and photograped for all who do a search.

There will always be apologists who think of a cheap score to their collection.

I would advice not to buy from any unknown potensial graverobber.

If the dead soldier is properly or even hastly buried, would't his ID disc be collected by the fellow soldiers?

I really do not care what you do in the end you will have to live with it. I am NOT going to be a part of it now or anytime in the future. If you're not sure about it take a ethics class at your nearby college. If that does not help tell your Mother your Wife or Girlfriend that you dig up graves and take the items out of the grave. Please report back to what they said. All for what? Just to make a Buck! Jurgen

                              Dog-Tag

Is the dog-tag intact of half ? Can not be seen on the photos.

Anyway, I can only agree too Jurgen E.
