Asked price to buy this visor is $600, would this be ok?

Early black visor usually have a completely different lining. Moreover nco early one have quite always name of firm or at least various descriptions without the name of company.
It depends if early 33 or later cause HH orders.

Here i see a mix of details who aren't proper for an early version.

I haven't a singular expertise for my items... IMO has not sense. I would pass for sure and without doubt for my knowledge. Who is the seller?

$600 is no bargain if it's not real. The wool doesn't look fine enough, and the piping looks too frayed. Original piping generally doesn't fray like that, with long strands sticking up, IMO. Couple this with the aforementioned odd materials, and personally, I'd pass. The interior side material DOES resemble the material often found in SA kepis, but I'm STILL not convinced. I'm posting a few pics of the wool and piping in my early cap for comparison.
