I have a pair of black Jodhpurs with a Waffen SS stamp on the rear pocket - on the outside. It is so fain I can't be 100% sure of what it says. Also, it has a leather patch sewn on the inside of the leg near the calf. What do you think? Real? Rip-off? I found them at a used clothing store a few years ago, so am not out much it they are not genuine. I was hoping somebody has seen this stamp before and knws what it says - preferably in English (or Deutsch) Thanks for any help.

The stamp says "Besoldungsstelle der Waffen-SS" in the first and "Buchungsstelle" in the next line.
I have absolutely no idea why the Department for Remuneration of SS soldiers, and in particular the Accounting Office of said department would stamp a piece of uniform - unless it was with the intention of fooling future collectors in enemy countries...
