most of diebel's pieces might have an assortment of real and bad, mostly bad-many fell prey to Mr Deibel's business in the 80's

As far as I can tell, the tunic is a fake! The wool look like it was from a cut down greatcoat. The breast pocket flaps have the wrong cut and placement. The chest pockets don't look right in their design. If this is an M40, then where are the chest darts? Also, if this is a private tailor tunic, why does it have depot markings? Finally, if I remember correctly, I had a fake Heer M34 hat which had the same silk lining and the same makers stamp! Too many questions for me, I would walk away. Steve
