    Hi guys,i saw this jacket on the stand and i was asking myself why this one is police …

    its police becose the cut is like on police tunic.

      SS jacket

      Hi,
      You need to get the books but the easiest thing that gives it away are the pleats on the top pockets, the normal SS "Erbsentarn Jacke" doesn't have these.
      They're also seen with the Police insignia on the left arm instead of the SS eagle and you'd certainly have noticed that!
      Looks a nice one.

                Exactly, in the camo uniforms book is another nice example shown.

                Police cut - look at the pockets, thee belt support hook holes, six buttons...

                    And much rarer and harder to find than the SS four pocket, saw a mint unissued one with police eagle a few Max's ago, should have gotten it, it was spectacular!

                        I own such a Police DOT tunic myself, it is certainly worn but unfortunately I have never seen any period photos of them in wear....anyone?
