small ss insignia?????

can anyone id this? it almost looks like finnish volunteer or something like it.has anyone at all seen this before or anything like it?

the box under it is a hand carved ring box i personaly carved to house my rings. was just a fun project i did years ago. this patch was part of all of the ww2 items my dad personaly brought back. so i am 1000% sure it was pre 45' whatever it is. i have never seen anything like it thats why i posted it. the glue substance on the rear looks like a hide glue or similar. creed

rd,i guess it is pretty funny now that i think about it. i thought it might have been some kind of wolf,dragon or who knows.lol i can put a few pics of the box up if you guys are interested.not a problem.
