Hello. I was surfing the net when I came upon a great group of photos of Waffen SS men in combat in France. I noticed on a lot of the photos that the soldiers had removed the collar insignia, including NCO's with the exception of officers. Many of the soldiers are wearing the camo flock. Was this a common practice and, if so, a collector could expect to see re-sown collar insignia? Thanks.
