    Wiking wrapper for sale

I was wondering what experienced members think about this one.

All of the insignia appears original. Not so sure on the tunic itself, or when the insignia will have been added. The surface wear on the eagle seems to be greater than the surrounding tunic, and the silk borders on those flatwire cufftitles usually wear quite readily...

The problem is the former owner was a talented restoration artist and admittedly so he didn't try to fool people I communicated with him many times in PMs even bought a few things from him. Do a name search and checkout his posts. This may be or may be not untouched who knows???

                talent restoration artist sound offensive.
As many of us, also me, has restored some items without clever intentions.
And not so many u can thing or you want suppose with "talent restoration artist" when sold them always advised about it.

wipe out any doubts on a gentleman like Francesco. One of the best friend i have ever found, an honour and respectable man.

Restoration - when identified clearly as such by the vendor - is never an issue to my mind. This being said, there is no mention of restoration in the current for sale description. Was it in fact restored?

Francesco's last post was over a year ago. Has he stopped collecting?

Maybe he can come here and let us know if he restored the wrap or not.

I don't think John was trying to insult Francesco by saying he was a talented restoration artist.

Francesco does have some very nice items in his collection whether restored or not.

that's ok John, in Italian give the word "artist" usually is very offensive in such situations.

Francesco growing him black collection, these days is busy with very important and strictly personal things and he's 1500 km far from him home, i don't really think he could and would read forums.

i will talk with him at the end of the week now he must thinks to other.
