original, but with that amount of zinc rot I would be very carefull. This process is difficult if not impossible to stop

Then tell my why is it only found on this type of skull too ?

I have seen this on other types of zinc insignia's too. But we see it more on these types. Why? I can only guess. Maybe late war zinc was really bad materials etc.?
