SS document? value?

Hello forum

A collector/friend is offering me this document for $100.

it appears to be for a veteran of WWI, getting an award... while serving in the SS?

any idea to value, or this soldiers history/service during the war?

i would snap that up for 100 bucks,i love it. worth more than the asking price in my opinion

It's an RKB document for service in a Freikorps unit 'Grenzschutz Nordost', the only SS connection is the signatory who happens to be an SS-Gruppenfuhrer. Having said that it is an interesting, framed document and what's $100 these days ...

thanks guys for the awesome help.

I got it yesterday on a trade on some bulky items I didnt want.

I will post this on estand shortly since I am mostly into helmets, swords, and medals.
