When would this have been reproed ? It's an old piece, I can tell must be very old fake. It's odd being found along with the ww2 US stuff. Maybe made up at the end of the war or just after?

It's for sure fake and not even well made, its far away from being original, I also doubt that it's old, it looks like a classic Chinese made copy which has been artificially aged.. the applied sleeve eagle is also a modern copy and the tabs are fake too! The tunic has 5 front buttons and two belt hook holes but not an SS style lining, so it's not even an accurate reproduction! You can believe me

You mentioned that it smelled like an old horse blanket. Maybe that is a side effect from false aging. Which has me wondering if that is the case then what was done to it
