Yours has a more unique swastika, but note the similarity in materials and construction.

I see what you mean about how it is similar in the construction etc. One difference though is the way the roundel is attached to the rest of the armband. Yours seems a bit thicker. Thanks for everyone's help.....

Found another one posted like it recently and remember I commented on it. The black stripes are different but the swastika is the same....

I would have no problem with this one, because it's real. IMO

Rarer than the wool ones, but probably sells for less because the wool ones are preferred. But if you are an armband collector and the price is right, go for it. Almost anything can be a good buy depending on price.

Price has been steadily climbing but still under the value IMO. Hope it stays that way. I don't know why but I like these more then the wool types because there is a bigger variety of variation and things like that...

                  SS Armband

IMHO, a nice original party armband with added black SS edge stripes. The stripes look to be of a correct material. The question becomes when were they added? I'd say a 1930's (pre-RZM) construction, for what it's worth.

Yeah, dude. If the price is fair then go for it. I like it also. I say original

Well I didn't end up getting this one sadly even though I loved it. Didn't have enough money for it and went a little pricey IMO for a cotton armband. Once again though, thanks for your help guys in confirming my thoughts originally!

Id RATHER have one with the ribbed/bumpy swastika edges like this than straight on a cotton one, this style is usually only prevelant in real examples, many SA good examples also have teh ribbed swatika.Bothe xamples all in this thread are good.

May be late to this one. I have a ton of armbands. I have acquired many really bad shape ones for dirt cheap. I have cleaned a few of them since they were so cheap. My two cents on this armband: It was cleaned at some point and dried. IMO that is why the tape is sucked in the way it is. Dryers will do this to an armband. It was also ironed at some point. The swastika will appear like this after it has been ironed. The tread will spread out. This has been my experience so far with this happening to armbands. Other than that I have no problem with the band being original.
