Just a few more opinions before I go for it.....

To me seems like a nice original but the only thing throwing me off is the wrinkles under the stripe which might just be an illusion from the pictures and the little piece of black coming out from the roundel. Other than that I think it is nice. What do you think?

    Hmm, I am not convinced....

Just doesn't look right, the material used

I have never owned one of these, so just my honest opinion

I am surprised the big guns have not chimed in yet

I was thinking the same thing. Interesting how nobody else commented. I see what you mean about the material. This will be my first SS if I do in the end get it. Also I have heard that cotton versions are harder to find than wool. Can anybody confirm this?

              Hello,

I like the construction, materials, and appearance. I think it is a good original one.

              regards, Robert

Thanks for your opinion Robert. Anyone else?

I like it. The details seem to be there. Of course, that's as much as I can tell from here. If I were buying I would hit it with a UV light and give it a good "hands on" inspection.

It is the early cotton variant, and not encountered as frequently as the standard heavy wool one. so if you want one that you can easily move when you need to perhaps a standard wool one would be more beneficial in the long run.

If I could I would. It is online and a decent distance away. The seller offers returns but that isn't the point. For the price it is at I would be stupid to pass it up. Not really looking to sell just to add to my growing collection or armbands. Thanks for your help by the way. Liked your front collection armband on ebay you had too.

Agreed for all of the same reasons. I especially like the swaz construction and the way the black parallel line material appears to have sucked up to the rest. But I detest operating without hands/eyes on and wouldn't go long based on the pics and what I don't know. That and vanilla in the SS minefield tastes better and is generally a better investment.

Thanks again for your help. If I do get it I will test the black light on it for one more quick check as you guys say!

Although I can't comment on your item I tend to agree with Jerry on this view.

                          Kind Regards

These didn't have much to them. While a wool specimen screams quality, these cottons ones should be just the opposite. Here's mine.
