    SS-Schütze Panzer Tunic & Trousers

    Hello to all,

A friend of mine recently acquired this SS Panzer wrap. I know that the Silver Wound Badge and the Silver Panzer Assault Badge are completely genuine, but that is where my expertise ends.

The tunic and trousers appear to be wool and they have a gray cotton twill partial lining. I would like to get some opinions on this, because my gut instinct tells me that this is not the real deal.

Thank you for any and all comments and/or opinions.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Sorry for the low quality of these images. I was disappointed in the way they came out, but hopefully they will be sufficient for the experts to tell whether this is a or . If better or more images are needed, just let me know and I will see what I can do.

    Thanks again!

(The camera flash made the epaulet piping appear white, but it is pink.)

The epaulettes look good to me, but maybe they are for a Heer Panzer tunic?

The silver Wound Badge and the Silver Panzer Badge are both original.

The Wound Badge is by Carl Wild of Hamburg and the Panzer Badge is by Rudolf Karneth of Gablonz a.d. Neiße.

Looks awful, but is it really Bulgarian falsely badged up with crappy insignia to be SS? Just a thought.

Looks like a butchered up overcoat with really bad fake insignia

PS the straps with the field-grey underside are what we would usually see on Waffen-SS uniforms ... these are fakes but the principal still stands.
