Dot 44 Tunic good or bad ?

One last question. I can see the bottom pockets have been removed, can I just ask if anyone has encountered this before ? Was it practiced much ?

Sometimes SS soldiers wear their dot 44 tunic tucked in their trousers as a shirt ! maybe it can explain that ?

I've just only noticed today that the jacket has a handsewn hole on his left chest pocket ! maybe the former owner wore a screwed EK 1
