Buyer's are probably becoming very selective on what they spend.
There's still top-dollar to spend, but only on selective top-items. Not so much on incomplete or damaged pieces IMO.
Then again, auctions require one complete payment and most collectors nowadays have to ask for mid-/long term payment plans from dealers.
I see more and more expensive uniform Ãtems on some sites that are "reserved" or "on layaway" for more than 1 year! Is that normal?
Buying an SS tunic within a 2 year period?!?!
How will real collections be built like that?
