2 Skulls, Looking for help IDing.

I have never owned any of these and I don't know a thing about them. I have searched and tried to compare these with others, but I still don't have a clue. I would like to know any information about these that I can find out. I have a friend that attended 70th Div. reunions and got these from the veteran who brought them back. Here is what the veteran wrote on a card about these.
"Found near Sterbfritz, Hesse, Germany in May of 1945"
