    Which Cuff title "W" do you think this soldier is wearing?

              More likely Westland, because if he is wearing Wiking, he belongs to the Artillery, Engineers, Recon, Transport... It´s more likely that Westland soldiers got the IAB, than any of the other units mentioned. Not impossible, but most likely! IMO.

                Yes could be so But one must also notice that a lot of soldiers kept their first combat medals even when transfered to another unit. As can be seen on many occasions when soldiers in panzer wraps still wear their IAB.

                As for the placing of the letters on the cuff title it seems like a short word and my guess would be Wiking.
