    SS barnfind, a real one

OK I am not exactly sure this came from a barn. It was found in the 1980's in Estonia, in either an attic, barn, or basement. Most likely attic. It was in too bad condition for my friend's friend, so he washed it (in a machine) and gave it to my friend for free. Well I ended up with it. No idea what happened to the original insignia...As you can see, this is not in very good condition, with holes, nap loss, extensive wear, etc... But you can see that the sleeves were wartime replaced. An m36 tunic with W-SS insignia. The eagle has traces where it was, but it has basically disintigrated. You can see the nap is still there underneath, as for where the armshield was. Also the outline for the collar tabs.
I want to restore it, let me know what you think of the insignia. I was thinking of putting the eagle offcenter to show the original eagle's placement and stitching.

Did it srunk from the machine washing? I think you should leave it as it is.

                            Cheers.
