    ss officer m43 cap

I got this hat several years ago. It has the Czech stampings inside. It also has the original applied eagle, but unfortunately the skull was removed. It also appears that an edelweiss was on the side and removed. I think the button may also have been reapplied or replaced. It has a silver metalic piping but most of the silver wash has come off. Only a small amount is visible in between the seem and the piping...
Let me know if anyone knows where to find an appropriate skull and edelweiss for this guy.

I believe the button is original. Check here for information on your cap. Below is mine.

Check here or here for an Edelweiss.

Peter v. Lukacs might be able to find a TK for you.

                Good luck!

                Best regards,
                Erich

The button is one of the different Corozo types you can find .

Oh good to see another one with the original insignia. I am glad that the button is original too. What do you mean by corozo? is that the manufacturer?
Thanks for your responses. I will look at the links and see if I can find the missing insignia for it.

                      Cheers,

Very nice caps... late war Italian material if I am correct. Two beauties.
