    SD insignia question

A fellow WAF member was able to get this interesting group from a veteran's family, explaining that these were obtained at a clothing manugfacturer's location (tailor inventory), all in unused condition...
(but some moth damage on the SD board set ...)
I have a question about the 2 SD single boards top right position!

The 2 singles which I obtained from him have an anomaly... as the green is not your typical
Toxic green ("giftgrün") but more like hunter green...an administrative green color
or like customs "Zoll" green! Just a variation?
The pattern is clearly SD and in proper black but the waffenfarbe is off...so I'm curious!
    Thoughts?

Thanks Peter . Yes I am happy to have been able to obtain these.
Just a little odd this "lack of toxicity" on the green waffenfarbe shade!
The seller had told me that such a variation had already gotten the thumbs up on WAF before,
but just wanted to run this by the experts as I was curious. The whole group is a vet bringback
so no doubt original TR period!

Somebody pointed me out to this thread (in the police section) which discusses SD color variations!
Indeed many shades of green shown here! Some way more "toxic" than others! Image credit : DaveC!
          What a pile!!! Matter settled!

More shown here! Thanks RKarum! WOW!
This is the COMPLETE lot, also showing the (cigar) box it returned home in from France
from the vet!! ! Now that's solid provenance! Great!

Only us collectors are fussy over the correct shades. Nothing wrong with these. Been looking for a nice pair of that rank myself to fill a little gap.
