It's a real M44, and looks like a nice one. The sleeve eagle is a good RZM type, looks recently attached given the wear of the tunic and the fact these left the factory with sleeve eagles attached.

The shoulderboards look original M44 types, and given the quantity of engineer boards floating around on dealer sites for low prices, could have been upgraded with tress. The tress could also be originally applied, but would take a hands-on inspection.

The runic tab looks phoney to me, and certainly doesn't belong on a M44. The tunic itself looks like the brownish type that I don't think of as classic SS, like the Italian wool types with silver HBT and BW markings, but it's a possible combo.

            regards, Robert

Agree with all, except the runic tab looks ok to me.

I would figure it like this:

                  - A stripped m44 tunic is between 800-1100 USD
                  - RZM mid-war sleeve eagle 250-300 USD
                  - Pioneer EM boards, assuming tress is original to them: 450-600 USD
                  - Bullion NCO tab, if real (I don't think it is): 500-650 USD
                  - Rank tab, if real: 125-150 USD

That would be how I would price this tunic. Hope that helps.

                  regards, Robert

For a stripped one would that be a good price. Would buy one for this price as well.
Insignias I think are all reapplied incl boards.
