Chris, presentation pistols were not equipped with live rounds. The plated cartridges were deactivated by drilling and removing the powder.

Is not the same sword, right?

agreed on some being high priced pieced together or total junk

I've published documents of Fegelein, Kumm, Baum, and others in various books, but many "magic appearing mint" uniforms I'll let those with more money than knowledge obtain.

You don't see high ranking SS uniforms in museums because it would glorify and is not considered politically correct to do so (display them).

Other armed branches are different, social stupidity at its best. Keep in mind Germany won't allow a 3rd Reich emblem (certain ones) in a photograph on the cover of a history book, they cross out emblems on book history book advertisements, militaria sites, etc in Germany nearly 75 years after the war. German posters on E-stand do the same. Ludicrous.

It is indeed ridiculous - but I have to cross out the swastikas on E-stand as well. Otherwise I would do a crime here. And we do not talk about a few € penalty. Sentences concerning §86a is not what one would like to experience.

By the way I do not call this country "Germany". Germany dont exist anymore. Now I live in the "Bunte Republik"!

for websites you have to log in, auction houses show it in the catalog, books not sure as I have only english books. Shows all is covered in Germany.

But Germany is still Prime AAA rated nation with a TE above 98 what you want more?

The triple AAA doesnt mean that much nowadays. In fact that country has by far a much darker future than most of the other western countrys.

from all the places I was living around the globe and all the places where I travel every month I can compare very much and doubt what you think.
That what I see is that many people in Germany think negative, but have no experience to compare life style and quality.

What are the facts about a dark future?

I fear we stiffens away but I will answer:

                            - broken national self confidence,
                            - extreme overaging in a few decades that is to be compensated with low educated people form the east and africa (ridiculous approach),
                            - euro-crisis that will ruin that country financially in a few years/ maybe decades,
                            - obvious decline / morbid in all bigger cities (I live in Hamburg and know what I say),
                            - ethnic problem - especially in bigger cities (Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, Berlin-Neukölln, Duisburg-Marxloh.....there you feel more like a Third World region).
                            - and at least a community/ politic that not even allow to speak about the problems,

That country will end as my last homeland 1989. We march with flyiing colours into ruin.

Lets drink a beer in 10 years and discuss everything at a nice bar.
I stick with Germany, with everything I experienced and see since decades.

Since Russia opened the door that Russian people can travel more easy Europe got like in 2008 I think 8 million visitors, now its up to 35 million.
New markets are open, good workers in Rumania, new programs in Russia but all with German engineering.
