      Its an original, early one. Been in the ground, or under water? You can see that the aluminum and copper layers are de-laminating, which is testament to its originality as the "fakers" haven't bothered to master Cupal yet (as far as I know).

          Was this style ever made of CupAl or only in Tombak?

          What I see just looks to me like a very amateurish soldering job.

            These are not CupAl. Solid brass IMO. Also, at some time, someone used 2 ounces of solder to replace the pins. Nice original from the ground.
