there was very recently a thread about helmet cover, but i can't find it anymore.
some comments were useless, but some were interesting.
did i miss something, has it been deleted ?

That is Why I didn bought a cover since this timing ... F those good fakes.

Fakes

Okay, here is another one of these fakes and Francescos. I showed the one on the bottom to Ted Caso back in the Day and he knew it was bad, so I really had to study them and then after some time I could spot them.

English is limited at explaining good fakes and why we know they are bad, so I figure this picture might help. You could also go to the MAX and walk around with me and I can point them out laying on Tables.

Study my Pic and Francesco's and you will see the fingerprints of this Faker.

Nice one Doc.

The Doctors cover is obviously made by the same hand as the top cover.

Made a bit different but with the same style in sewing ....as regards stitching etc.

After talking to Dr last night on the phone he mentioned seeing another glaring example of this strain ..that I had also seen at the West Coast Historical 's last show.

Also another friend of mine has 2 examples in their collection's that are made from the same style and hand.

like was stated before this is a very deep hole and the covers have been scattered far and wide.
