SS cufftitle and insignia for the Germanske SS Norge /GSSN. This rare set belongs to a friend. Full original lenght on the cufftitle. Both cufftitle and raven holds original paper tags, and are unissued. Expert opinions welcome.

Great items. Very rare and sought after from Norwegian collectors.

Just a comment on the NS bird with the RZM tag. I have seen similar posted before with similar RZM tag. In the early pictures of GSSN we see the local norwegian made items; Collar Tabs, cuff title, SS Diamond etc. These looks very crude made and are very different from the German made (as yours). The NS bird is as far as I have seen the same always and no local vs German version exist? Based on this I have assumed that the NS Bird was also made locally in sufficient quantities and in a good quality so no replacement was required. The other local made items is of poor design/quality so the German made ones was much more appropriate IMO. Since only this version of the NS Bird exist I do not see the RZM tag as part of the bird, also a C tag on a bird made from this material is slightly to high tax class? Just an opinion, can´t prove this either way. Still a very rare and sought after item. Great score. If any has documentation on the local vs German origin it would be very interesting to see.

It is a well known fact that there was an early type norwegian made raven with slim wings!? Look at photos and you will see that it was rather often used the first period. Several examples exist in collections also.
