looks like a good die stamped brass piece. probably had silver frosting on it at one time can you see traces of silvering in the recesses..Comment

Can someone put a date on this one. I have compared it to skulls seen in wartime photos and I havent found any that match, so I am guessing that it is pre-WWII, but is that correct? Looks fine to me.
Do a search on some of Robin Lumsdens threads as he has wrote a quite a bit on this forum about these skulls. The skull is Imperial in origin.
Sorry I cannot help on the value; but I paid £8 for mine back in the late 1970's
