    Allach painted Amsel

    Dear Allach collectors,

regarding the german ebay I notice a painted Amsel.

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/ALLACH-PORZEL...item43b100ad22

Comparing the Dennis Porell Puplications of Allach porcelain the painting quality of the bird is so bad that this couldn't be a original painting job out of the manufacture.

    How are your opinions.

    best regards

    Ivanhoe

Is such a piece lost? Or can the paint be removed without harming the piece?

        Regards, Wim

sorry for that question, but there is the meeting point betwenn this porcelan Bird and the SS?
The only thing i know about Allach is the name. And the part of munich which is also called Allach.
          And the Price!
this is no offense, i really want to know something about it.

That manufacturer used to be a part of the ss system (ie an ss owned business).

The ss owned several larger companies in various business fields, allach provided "cultural goods".

            Cheers

                Hi Wim,

The paint will come off to reveal a white bird with chemicals. No damage but an obvious difference in price and the paint hinders spotting repairs that might be there as well. ;o)

                Best,

                Kris

It seems we miss a motive (flower?) on the front side of the base, no?
