      hmm

the first is an original typical of those made at Dachau...the second appears to be an enlisted version that has been upgraded to officer..which was done but the question is always when?

For my view I am questioning the two string piping on the EM tab, not typical matching in the time frame. But who knows for sure the history on this example.

Agree with Suhail, Ian and Robert H. Application time of piping is the question.

On the field-upgraded officer's tabs... Due to the nature and the urgency of upgrading an EM tab to an officer's tab, wouldn't one expect most 'field-upgraded' EM tabs worn and removed from a tunic? Else, what would have been the point in upgrading...

              Kind regards,

                Clarification

It's not the EM tab per sea, it's the piping that is in question.

The point of updating is allways the money, you need to buy embroidered tabs.

Bevo is the manufacturing technique, Dachau is the place with the )clothing-)depot where US soldiers got the insignia from.

Whether № 2 for 450$ it is possible to buy?
                        It is the normal price?
