interesting bevo NCO runic tab

Here's an interesting tab, still sewn to a piece of HBT collar material, that just sold on ebay. The runes do not have the vertical "lines" in them that the "standard" woven NCO/officer's tabs have. I've attached another photo of these tabs from the Grant Bias collection that was posted on the GDC forum (Grant, I hope you don't mind).

And the price was amazing $ 1302 as final price.... Woooow, very nice tab but far too expensive. If you double that price you would have got a whole SS-tunic !

Its a crazy collectors world of SS items!!

thats more then far far far away to pay such price for this kinda tab. For this price you could get a much rarer SS tab or 2 good TK tabs ... crazy.

I'm not so sure.. if this one is a variant. Also, the only 1 of the NCO tabs I've seen at a show was priced at ~$1700. What is the going rate for one of these?
