yes,i have to agree,dont look right in construction for me.

These straps are bad as already several has stated.
Tresse - most likely East Gearman. Keyholes seems of post war repro type. Also seems to be a fake "zig zag" stitch on reverse, and lastly that piping is strange to say the least.

I agree , the tresse does not conform to wartime manfactured tresse . Stay away from these .
